Community Guidelines

Office Mood Board is a shared platform for posting funny moments, office experiences, and reactions. We want this to be a welcoming, clean, and positive space for colleagues from all over to vent, laugh, and find relatable content. These guidelines outline the expectations we have for anyone posting or commenting on the board.

1. Be Respectful and Kind

Workplace venting is healthy, but targeted abuse is not. Do not use this board to attack, harass, threaten, or mock specific individuals. Keep critiques focused on situations and systems (e.g., "long alignment meetings") rather than personal slurs or name-calling.

2. Respect Privacy and Confidentiality

Do not share real names of colleagues or expose personal identification information. Additionally, you are strictly prohibited from publishing company-confidential information, product roadmaps, client secrets, passwords, or client lists. If in doubt, mask or generalize the details (e.g., use "our client" instead of "Acme Corp").

3. Zero Tolerance for Spam Links

To keep our board safe and professional, we run automated content filters that parse text submissions. **All links, domain extensions (.com, .xyz, etc.), HTML anchor tags, and external URLs will be blocked immediately.** Repetitive attempts to bypass these filters will result in content deletion.

4. Keep Media Content Appropriate

Uploaded images must be safe for work (NSFW content is strictly forbidden). Avoid uploading images containing private corporate code, spreadsheets with financial data, or pictures of employees without their consent. Focus on memes, reactions, and generic office humor.

5. Hierarchy-Free Sharing

This is a community for all job designations: from Interns to the CEO. Respect the variety of perspectives! What might seem like a simple question to a Manager could represent a confusing day for an Intern. Empathy and light-heartedness are key.
